Josh returns to Real Estate as a Founding Member of Catalyst an RLAH group with over 15 years of experience in Real Estate sales and development both in NYC and here in DC.

After attending New York University, Josh embarked on a successful career in Real Estate where he worked for two of Manhattan’s premier Real Estate Brokerages, where he lwas integral to the development of over 9 multi-million dollar projects in NYC and Brooklyn.

In 2008, Josh moved to Washington, DC to join the Sliwka Group where his success in Real Estate continued. In 2010 when an offer from the largest Health and Fitness Company in the North East came his way; something completely outside of his comfort zone, Josh knew that it was a challenge he could not resist. He spent 5 years managing both sales and operations for the company where he won multiple awards for his leadership and sales success.

Originally from New York City, Josh comes from a family that was involved in Real Estate development in both Manhattan and Long Island since the early 1980’s. When the opportunity presented itself to return to what he is passionate about, he took the leap and is thrilled to be part of the dynamic and professional team that is Catalyst and RLAH

For Ellen meeting the most precise goals of her clients be they buyers, sellers, developers or investors is paramount, and knowing the nuances of the market and her clients’ needs are the framework of all her interactions.

Ellen spent years working in the highly competitive New York City real estate market, before expanding her business to the Washington, DC metro market. Building a successful business these last 6 + years in the DC Metro area has been an equally interesting and compelling experience.

After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from New York University in Political Science and History, Ellen completed her Graduate Degree at Columbia University. Her preoccupation with Real Estate prevailed and Ellen left careers in Advertising and Hospital Administration to devote herself to her role as a Principal in a development company concentrating on single family homes in upscale markets. This experience, combined with years as a valued agent and consultant to developers in the Manhattan condo market, achieving sales in the $70+million range, have provided her with a depth of experience and understanding that form the basis of how she conducts her business today.

Ellen’s genuine fascination with people, places, and things combined with her knowledge, attention to detail, experience and extensive network make her an asset to any real estate transaction.

As an admitted workaholic, Ellen is available by text and email 24/7, or by cell from 7AM-11PM. Should you not get an immediate response hang tight for a few minutes… she’s probably at the movies !

Ellen continues in her 3rd year as an active Member of the Public Policy Committee of DCAR (District of Columbia Association of Realtors)

Ellen is an avid supporter of Animal Rights Groups, Angels for Animals, a group that rescues dogs/cats etc and aids Veterans with temporary housing for their pets when deployed or ill, HRC . Equal Rights for all… and the beach !
